Wearing a face mask becomes a part of our new normal to protect ourselves. How to be more charming with your look? Apart from wearing a fashionable face mask, your face mask eye makeup can pop your eye out! Here is a step-by-step guide for you.
Step 1: Apply eye primer
Firstly, apply eye primer to smooth the surface of your eyelids. Ensure to blend the primer evenly from upper lash line to brow bone. This is a beauty technique to last the eyeshadow longer.
Step 2: Blend out the crease
Use a neutral or light-toned eyeshadow colour to cover your whole eyelids. For bold eye makeup, the focal points are middle spotlight, inner and outer dark corners of lids. Light-toned colour can have a big contrast with the shadow corners.
Step 3: Apply eye corner colour
Apply a warm colour to the inner and outer thirds of lids. It is better to choose a darker eyeshadow colour than the previous one as shade. Use a fluffy blending brush to blend the darker shade slightly into the crease areas of inner and outer thirds. And, don’t apply on the centre of eyelids and creases.
Step 4: Apply a light colour to create bright eyelids
The spotlight of bold eye makeup is the center of eyelids. Apply a white or light colour with any finish like shimmer, metallic, glitter to brighten and stand out the center lids. Use a small blending brush to blend the spotlights to meet the darker shadows seamlessly.
Step 5: Apply the same light colour to lower lash line
Apply white or the same light eyeshadow colour of center lids to lower lash lines to create bigger and rounded eyes.
Step 6: Apply eyeliner and mascara
Use a black eyeliner to create thin cat eyes. And, use volumizing and lengthening mascara to lash up your lashes. You get perfect bright and rounded eye makeup finally!
