Oily & Combination Skin
If a shiny T-zone stresses you out, then you’ll need a face mask that will work hard removing all excess oil that may appear on your skin throughout the day. The best one to use is a natural clay face mask.
The mud or clay within the mask will draw out all the impurities and excess oil, while reviving ingredients such as witch hazel will lock in moisture keeping your skin hydrated. You’ll feel refreshed and ready-to-go. You can use clay masks once or twice a week.
Dry & Sensitive Skin
If your skin is dry or sensitive, a hydrating mask will give your skin a much needed moisture boost. The hydrating properties of Vitamin E often found in these masks will replenish your skin in minutes while the natural oils will keep it feeling soft and smooth.
Depending on how dry your skin is, it’s a good idea to use a hydrating face mask two to three times per week.
Blemish-Prone Skin
If you have blemish-prone skin, a purifying mask will work wonders for you. Ingredients such as green clay that is packed with plant minerals from volcanic activity will help to draw out impurities and unclog the pores, leaving your skin feeling clean, cool and full of energy. Use it once or twice per week if needed.
Normal Skin
If you have normal skin, a whole array of masks will work for you. For days when you feel your skin needs that extra moisture boost, go for a hydrating mask. When you want a deep cleanse, a purifying mask can work wonders.
Generally, a cleansing or moisturising face mask can become the go-to treat for your skin. Try a few masks and see which one you enjoy most. You can use a face mask once a week or when required.
