What is HypoCol®?
HypoCol® is a 100% natural product derived from pure strain red yeast called Monascus purpureus Went and every batch is tested to meet strict specifications. It is used for maintaining healthy blood lipid levels.
HypoCol® is yielded from premium Red Yeast Rice through a strict and consistent US patented manufacturing process under patent number 6046022.
Recommended use of HypoCol® capsule
HypoCol® capsule is specially recommended for use by healthy adults for maintaining healthy balance of circulating lipid levels.
HypoCol® capsule is intended to be used as part of a lipid maintenance programme that should include a healthy diet restricted in saturated fat and lipid, and regular exercise.
Active ingredient in HypoCol® capsule
Each HypoCol® capsule contains 600mg of standardised WPU Red Yeast Rice (WPU RYII) derived from fermentation of Monascus purpureus Went species on premium rice, including by products of the fermentation process consisting of Monacolins*, natural pigments and fatty acids.

Directions for use
• For optimal result, take 2 capsules twice daily after meals.

*Not recommended in pregnancy, lactation; not for individuals under 20 years of age and those at risk for or have history of liver disease.

Warnings
Use with caution in pregnancy, lactation, children and adolescents. HypoCol capsule is not recommended for individuals under 20 years of age. HypoCol capsue is not recommended for individuals at risk for or have history of liver disease. Contraindicated in individuals with liver or kidney impairment. Avoid taking HypoCol capsules if you consume more than 2 drinks of alcohol per day; if you have serious infection; if you have undergone organ transplant; if you have a serious disease or physical disorder or if you have undergone a major surgery recently. Consult your physician if you are taking any medication or if you are under physician supervision for cholesterol control. Avoid concomitant use of lovastatin and other statins. Do not take grapefruit juice with HypoCol. Discontinue usage or consult your physician if you experience muscle aches or weakness. Periodic checks on liver function should be conducted if on prolonged use of the product. Keep out of reach of children.
